Dongguan Protronic Electronics Limited is the manufacturing base of Protronic located in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, the PRC. The industrial park comprises of 4 blocks of production complex, an administration building and quarters. The total gross floor area for production is approximately 500,000 sq.ft. and the fixed asset value is more than US$50 million.

We continue to invest on modern facilities and equipments for continued quality improvement. All facilities are properly maintained and monitored while equipment and quality control are regularly calibrated by external laboratory. We now have 1,500 work force of which over 5% were graduated with engineering degrees or other professional qualifications. The operation is structured in 5 essential functions, including centers of Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics and Administration.

Location

Protronic manufacturing in Dongguan requires a 30-minute ride from Changping Train Station. Shuttle bus services are available for staff and customers between our Dongguan factory and the train station.


Production Capacity

Currently, there are a total of 20 production lines from PCB insertion to finished goods assembly. The annual production capacity in 2007 is expected to be over 1.5 million pieces including battery chargers, security & surveillance system, wireless monitoring & control system and consumer electronics products. In 2008, we expect another double-digit growth of our production output.

Security Safeguarding policies have been set up and maintained by Protronic. There are security guards and gates at the entrance, a 24-hour surveillance system, security scanners for entrance and exit, periodic count of stocks and assets, in-and-out registration and insurance coverage.

Training Training is one of the fundamental elements in Protronic quality management. Apart from offering introductory training to all workers before joining protronic, there arel also be on-the-job training to widen their professional skills and exposure.
