With the initial success of producing and supplying
home alarm systems, the Protronic management foresaw
the growing demand and huge opportunity of home
alarming, home automation, DIY CCTV and home networking
products. To differentiate the product range from
Precision's, Protronic (Far East) Ltd. was established
on 27 June 1997.
The 911 attack and subsequent terrorist attacks
around the world triggered worldwide awareness
about the importance of security that in turn
brought up a huge demand of CCTV products. As
a result, Protronic did successfully capture significant
market shares in USA, UK and Europe during the
first year of operation. More proactive strategies
had been taken in the following years, including
mass resources invested in the R&D for developing
new CCTV and monitoring products.
With our professional team members and constant
dedication to succeed, Protronic had a breakthrough
in 2001 by introducing the wireless monitoring
system with 2.4Ghz transmission. In 2004, Protronic
was awarded the Outstanding Quality Manufacturer
by RadioShack.
